Saudi-Arabia arms deal with the U.S.

"The Obama administration will soon notify Congress of an arms package for Saudi Arabia worth up to $60 billion, U.S. officials said on Monday, a potentially record-breaking deal that may help counter Iran's growing regional muscle" (says REUTERS), this package of 60 billion should put an end to anybody saying that america is not about the money it's about the dream. This is clearly a spit in the face of all the victims of 9/11 and all the american soldiers who fought and died for fighting against "terrorism".If someone actually proposes that this will help the economy take notice that all this money will go to defense contractors not to helping the economy, however this move is also said to help america in it's move to balance the power against Irans increasing missile ability, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the president of Iran has lately come out with very controversial behavior said to distract from Irans alleged program for developing nuclear weapons, such as the unveiling of the Ambasador of death which mission is the maintaining of "peace" and other comments meant to provoke. Make up your own mind if this is a good or bad move on the part of the americans because it certainly is a good deal for Saudi-Arabia..
It looks like it's all about who gets the money, no surprises there.

Osama Bin Laden is a Saudi

Prayer Rooms for mulims in the World Trade Center

As some of you may not be aware of, in NY near the WTC site there has been a lot of controversy about the building of a "mosque" mostly know as a Park51, two blocks away from the site, the argument surrounding this issue is that the building will denigrate the memory of the victims of 9/11, of course most(not all) of the people supporting this idea are bigoted a**holes who don't care that muslims who have also died in this horrific tragedy should be remembered as well, this could be considered a victory for the propaganda machine know as FOXnews, which in it's reports of the building of the cultural center make a almost direct connection that if you support the building of Park51 you also support muslim extremists who perpetrated the act. As it turns out another reason that this controversy is unfounded is the recent news of existing prayer rooms for muslims in the WTC.

 More reasons include:
Not being a BIGOT and/or being tolerant instead.
Facts that show an actual mosque 5 blocks away from the WTC site.
Education and common sense, like not putting all members of a religion in the same pot (ex: all christians are supporters of the crusades and deniers of evolution and would like this world to go back to witch burning)
Muslims were also among the victims and should not be forgotten.
And many more.

Personal insight:
Another reason for the opposition of this building is that somehow extremist muslims are proclaiming victory over America, to this i have to say: So what? Are you saying that you are better than them by being as intolerant as them, really? Maybe for the extremist this means victory, maybe for the victims it means they forgive but not forget, overall the building of Park51 is what America is supposed to and should stand for as a example to all, that the american way of life will not be destroyed by extremism and intolerance.

The Universe Does Not Need God

Stephen Hawking, the most notable theoretical physicist and cosmologist of this age and author of such books as: A Brief History of Time, Black Holes and Baby Universes and Other Essays, The Universe in a Nutshell has released his new book The Grand Design coauthored with Leonard Mlodinow, the book is meant to popularize cosmology and science, it tackles the idea that the universe came into existence without the need for a supernatural intervention. On the 10th of september on Larry King SH said that something can come from nothing within the know laws of physics, basically saying that  the universe does not need God for it's existence.
SH and Leonard Mlodinow the coauthor of the book even thou they were frequently asked if they believe in a God, successfully managed to dodge the answer by reasonably saying that personal beliefs don't come into account when dealing with the natural universe.
SH - "It is reasonable to ask who created the universe, but if the answer is god, then the question has merely been deflected to that of who created god. In this view, it is accepted that some entity exists that needs not a creator and that entity is called god. This is known as the first-cause argument for the existence of god. We claim however, that it is possible to answer this questions purely within the realm of science, and without invoking any divine beings"

Personally I recommend all of Stephen Hawking's books.
Can't wait to get my hands on this book.
